| Info: | From his early days at Limelight's "Disco 2000", Merritt has been one of the most innovative and cutting edge dj's in the New York City club scene to date. His unique and energetic blend of hard house, electronic and dark tribal beats has been heard on the main floors of literally all of New york City's best known clubs .
Some of his club residencies have included Limelight, Palladium, USA, Roxy, Twilo, Expo, Exit, Cheetah, Life, Spa, Discotheque, Sound Factory Bar, Sound Factory and Tunnel ( Merritt was the opening night d.j. for Peter Gatien's Tunnel night club and one of the people who spearheaded it's original after hours ). Notable guest spots have included Vinyl, Centro Fly, Spirit, Crobar, Pacha New York and Avalon. Merritt was also one of the resident dj's at Cafe Con Leche and one of the co-creators of the original Sugar Babies party.
Merritt has spun at various high profile media and celebrity events and has been featured in such publications as The Village Voice, Time Out, Urb, ID, Paper Magazine and Page Six of The New York Post. He has taken his sound all over the U.S. and abroad and his production work have included remixes and original productions for such labels as Warner Brothers, BMG and JVM.
Merritt is currently the resident dj at Asseteria, the 2005 Winter Music Conference winner for best party in America two years in a row. Asseteria is held at Show night club in the heart of Time Square every Sunday nights. |
